Dear Alex,

I’m writing you this letter to tell you that you are the one. The one I was waiting for. I didn’t know I was waiting until I met you. You didn’t steal my heart, you filled it up. You didn’t catch my eye immediately, but since you did, I haven’t been able to look away. You never swept me off my feet, you made me infinitely more stable and balanced. I don’t need you, but I never want to have to experience this life without you. You’ve helped me be the best version of myself - thank you for that. I’m writing you this letter as the first of many, to tell you that I love you, that I am in love with you, that you make my life richer in so many ways. You also irritate me more than I thought possible, but I want to spend every annoying minute with you.
